I want to give a shout out to all the Hawkeye fans who made my first visit to CHA such a memorable occasion. You know who you are and I don't want to embarrass you on your home board by naming names. But, from the drinks at Joe's place to dinner at Flannigan's, it was a fun day. I really appreciate you making a Penn State fan feel so welcome. You have my contact information, I hope I can return the favor someday.

And, all the Hawkeye fans at the wrestling meet and the men's and women's basketball games that I ran into were nothing but classy and hospitable. The venue was awesome and the ice cream was great!

It's odd because everyone on the bball board says Carver sucks (in the context of watching a basketball game).

But in terms of college wrestling.....where the action is even further from the fans (technically speaking)......there isn't a better venue for the sport IMHO. (except maybe Kinnick )


Must have to do with where each program stands on a national level or something................
