NCAA doesn't have subpoena power. The FBI does and the NCAA will follow them through the process.
I posted this several times here: abolish college athletics, just organize intermurrals twice a year, like other (normal) countries. Get cheating our of academics.

Man keep all the info coming. This has been fascinating. It's almost like something that is supposed to happen. You cheat. You get caught. You get in trouble... refreshing.
The severity remains to be seen....but that was one school. This has the possibility of decimating several (many?) programs, including some elite programs. It all depends on who has what evidence and who is willing to roll over on their bosses.
Thankfully, I can only think of one shady recruitment at Iowa in the last 20+ years and that was by Curly when Alford was still at Iowa.
