That was fun!!! Keegan was HUGE, again

Bruh we have the national player of the year on the team. Keegan’s great but stop.
True. But Keegan in my opinion is the most complete player on the team. rebounding, driving, shot blocking, defense, passing, he's very impressive. Then you factor in he's a true freshman not starting and it's just eye popping.

If we said most valuable sure it's probably Luka. But heck Keegan in the last two weeks has been arguably good for a win or two. (remember the big free throw rebound a week ago?)

It's a whole team thing. Every player coming in is playing defense from the get go. The offense is flowing from that, even when they are throwing up turds.

”Most important” is clearly Garza, but I get the real point of the comment. Keegan is a bench spark, takes defensive pressure off Garza for stretches and can create his own offense. I don’t think it’s debatable that he’s Iowa’s most important bench guy. He probably was before Nunge’s injury, but he sure as hell is now.

For some of you old-timers out there like me, Keegan's game reminds me of players like Alex English or Jamaal Wilkes. I'm not saying he will ever reach the level those guys did (he most likely won't), but he has similar characteristics, smooth offensively and a very calm, cool presence on the court.

Agree with all of that, he’s awesome. And I think he’s going to take another leap next year.

Keegan was big. He deserves more minutes. He deserves to start. Fran needs to open his eyes and sit his boys a little more.

Keegan's defense is a game changer

The two minute stretch where he played the 5 in the second half was impressive.

His ability to match up with Potter then switch to Trice on a screen suffocated Wisconsins offense.

Wisconsin got 1 shot off in 3 possessions.

Next year Iowa may actually be a better defensive team than offensive.
