Because BF will take the air out of the ball. Passing the ball does not seem to happen with a 10 point lead. Wadley might get 30 carries. Why would Wadley get tired if we are 10 points ahead?.........
Ah alright, well you didn't clarify your statement so I was just curious......................Because BF will take the air out of the ball. Passing the ball does not seem to happen with a 10 point lead. Wadley might get 30 carries.
Iowa wins in an exciting septuple overtime thriller 11-9.
Illinois is a horrendous football team. They are one of, if not the, worst teams in the P5 conferences.
Twelve passes have resulted in touchdowns this season, more than Wadley has scored.Wadley is a much bigger threat to score quickly than passing the ball.
No kidding, when I read Iowa was favored by 20 points, I assumed they thought we'd be pitching a shutout. The "logic" of the football betting public amazes me. Iowa getting 20 against any one is enough to make me shy away. If Iowa wins 28-10, Illinois cashes. 28 is a lot of points for Iowa.
Being ahead by 10, what does that feel like?Because BF will take the air out of the ball. Passing the ball does not seem to happen with a 10 point lead. Wadley might get 30 carries.
Great play.. this is a 28-10 30-7 kinda game, maybe even less if weather is badSo you think under 44 is a good play?

The forecasts I'm seeing are chilly with some wind, but no rain during game time. It's not that bad, really. The weather WILL be bad
Everything I've seen (KCRG/weather channel) shows very good chance of rain into the afternoon. This is an 11 am kickoff. The forecasts I'm seeing are chilly with some wind, but no rain during game time. It's not that bad, really.
Weather's variable and there is a good chance of wetness. Hourly forecasts are almost worthless, they just help clarify the timing of when things are expected. Just thought I'd share a more positive outlook I'd come accross.Everything I've seen (KCRG/weather channel) shows very good chance of rain into the afternoon. This is an 11 am kickoff.
Assuming that it does rain: If they were starting Chase Crouch I would say it's overrated since he's mobile and can run but Jeff George Jr is a pocket passer so the rain would definitely be an advantage to us thereWeather's variable and there is a good chance of wetness. This forecast has no rain in the 10-2'o clock hours.

But whatever it turns out to be, I think its impact on the game is overrated.
Iowa fan living in IC. Can't decide whether I'm gonna cheer for Nebraska tomorrow because if I think we can make a run I will but if not, no way I cheer for them. Probably won't cheer for Nebraska though, just because we still have OSU and Wisconsin on the scheduleWill probably drop $20 on Iowa ATS tomorrow morning. Still debating. Same with Nebraska straight up. +303 is hard to pass up, even if Nebraska has a dumpster fire in their athletics department right now.
Yeah, I'd probably throw like $10 on Nebraska, make it a win/win situation. Don't think I'd throw a car payment on them, though.Iowa fan living in IC. I hear ya. I wasn't suggestion what you should do, just giving an opinion on my rooting interest. Basically if we would've beaten MSU convincingly I'd cheer for Nebraska but now I'm cheering for WisconsinYeah, I'd probably throw like $10 on Nebraska, make it a win/win situation. He would be a much larger threat, if we could pass well enough to keep only seven players in the box.Wadley is a much bigger threat to score quickly than passing the ball.
I thought that was ISU how was that game.Illinois is a horrendous football team. They are one of, if not the, worst teams in the P5 conferences.
Sadly, Iowa's O-line has shown me nothing. Illinois will practice all week to beat Iowa, just like PSU and MSU did. I don't think they will walk into Kinnick awed.It seems about right, fellow Hawkeye fans, when you consider how young Illinois is. This should allow our hogs to control the trenches and open up gaping holes for our studs to slide into.
That sums up our passing game doesn't it? LmaoWadley is a much bigger threat to score quickly than passing the ball.
