I think OSU and Michigan are 1 and 1a. Michigan looked really, really good. Iowa is playing at a very high level but has been playing iffy teams the last few weeks. MSU is inconsistent as is NW and Wisky is falling off. If we can keep winning the next 2 weeks we can once again control our own destiny provided Wisky stumbles one more time. Wisky wins 2 of the next 3 for sure against Rutgers and Illinois, Northwestern will be interesting on the 27th for WIsky. It's fun to be kinda back in the mix. I really like our team and wish we had beaten the Badgers.

OSU’s defense is suspect. Pressure their QB and they’re very beatable.

You might as well put braska with IL and MN, how can you say they should be ahead of anyone but rutgers?

Power Rankings change every week. It’s not solely based on who beat who 3 weeks ago.

Let's not overlook Maryland. Yes, the rest of the season could provide some special things but none are a given, except for Illinois.

Nice for them. We always beat the best teams in the East.

Now what do we have to do to get a cakewalk schedule like ISU’s? Short of joining the Big12 of course.

tOSU runs an offense that is great when they have the threat of the QB running, and Haskin's is not a real threat to run. Purdue has the potential to be very tough, but I don't fear them, I fear Iowa not playing up to its potential when we play them. I think every game on Iowa's schedule should be a win, as long as Iowa plays to its potential, Purdue is no exception.

You know, I can at least understand the Nubbie trolls' delusion. They have seen excellence in their lifetime. The Clowns are a special breed of pathetic. One 8-5 season and they are on the verge of a NC. Iowa is, admittedly, a 2nd or 3rd tier program. The talent level has improved and they may or may not take a step forward. The rest of this year and next year will tell the tale.
ISU, conversely, will probably win 7 games because they play in the sorriest of all P5 conferences. I marvel watching any team in that conference. I never believed I would see a day when scholarship football players were as soft as the Big 12 has become. And Campbell will be gone within the next two years and little sister will be back to a 4-win team per their historical average. Some things are as predictable as the sunrise.

The big 12 had 20 players taken in the 2018 draft I’m willing to bet the “so called weak” big west had more then that..
