What a cesspool of overreaction and negativity. The Hawks aren't gonna win every damn game.

As much as you all joke about the delusions of Husker and Cyclone fans, calling for heads to roll after every single loss is arguably worse when we don't have a history of blue blood achievement like UNL or decades without any achievement whatsoever like ISU. Especially when our mediocre Big Ten team with a first year starting qb loses by 7 on the road to a more recently successful program. I'm not sure what's worse: the fact that you all think we're *entitled* to win every game or the naïveté to believe we actually can.

I've long known that the worst part of being born a Hawkeye fan is having to deal with, and be represented by, the other fans. One has to look no further than this board to see evidence why. And you wonder why we have such a lousy reputation among other fan bases...

I can only hope the Lounge is a better representation than you lot. It certainly can't be worse.

Yeah it was pretty rediculous on here last night. I don't remember it being that bad for awhile anyway but it's probably that I just block out the hyperbole and stupidity after so much.
