Hey, I'm a Nebraska fan and even I had to laugh at some of the statements. I think it's random fans saying provocative things in order to get noticed on sites like this.
It appears that they've succeeded.
Seriously, I've never heard of this show before. Most of their youtube posts have less than 1000 views.
I guess it begs the question... How did you find it? Unless you were specifically looking for it.
I found it on the Nebraska Rivals board. Their opinions match a lot of posters over there. "Nebraska has won countless national championships". Ha Ha. I guess 5 is the new countless. I haven't got to the part yet where they're going to talk about the Tommy Armstrong stuff. Can't wait.

When will Nebraska be relevant in college football again? Do we need to wait another 14 years or will this be measured in decades?

The only schools that strive to be 6-6 are those schools like isu or those with traditionally losing records.
Skirt fans must just block out every year since 2001.
No skirt fan will be able to answer TankHawk's post. They are too busy re-watching VHS tapes of their glory.
Hey now they are at the top of the graduating class for Nebraska. I heard that the nebraska President is going to use that analysis for why nebraska should be re-admitted to the AAU.
Well, since there's only one other 5-6 team in the country (FIU), the competition isn't too stiff.

Oh man....I swear I could not stop laughing!! I am pretty sure this is not a real show, and I am sure most Nebraska fans would agree. If, and this a BIG IF, this is for real.....I would love to know what their major announcement is? "Dude...we will be moving this thing to Saturday nights down in Bobby Ray's basement!! WOO HOO!!!" Just great stuff!!!

nebraska is the Blue Hairs of college football. It has been so long since they were relevant that they have to live in the past.
A typical night for a pair of skirt fans. "Marge, get the VHS warmed up we are watching games from 1997 tonight".
I thought the comparison of programs between Iowa State and Iowa was particularly hilarious. What is that stat? Iowa State is the only current P5 school in NCAA history to never once receive a first place vote in the AP poll?
Iowa State has been ranked in the top 10 exactly once in their program history. Iowa, 119. They have not been ranked at all since 2005. They have been ranked in 10 out of 80 seasons of the poll. Iowa, 38 of 80.

And spare me the Nebraska versus Iowa history comparison. If you want to talk say since Ferentz arrived, they are very similar. The simple fact is that if you talk modern football histories, Nebraska and Iowa are very comparable. That pisses off Nebraska fans to even remotely acknowledge that fact (as evidence of that farce of a podcast)...and it pisses Iowa fans off that Nebraska fans can't see that.
Iowa State did win a conference title in 1912 with a 2-0-0 conference record. So, they've just had a bad century.
I see that some Iowa fans have been commenting on the video. I think anyone and everyone on here should do the same!! I may or may not have already......
Well, for one we aren't Iowa State which they stated. Two, they have had their history(full of steroids, murderers, rapists, etc.), but it's now. Now in these times, they are mediocre at best. No championships, no BCS rankings, no Top 10 rankings by seasons end. Just a continuing culture of embarrassing losses, and fired coaches.
The problem is, is that they don't know ish about Iowa. Listen to their show after the Purdue loss. It was hilarious, and now all of the sudden, as is the typical delusions of Huskers, they are world beaters.
Here's the difference between Iowa and Nebraska fans. Iowa fans are very proud of the Dan Gable era of wrestling and national championships. That being said, we know he's gone and we will never see that type of dominance on the mat ever again. The program is still at the top of the national rankings though. Nebraska fans delude themselves into thinking Tom Osborne is still there and the national championships weren't 17 years ago. That somehow the mediocre record in the B10 has never really happened, and that they are still relevant on the national scene. Purdue scored 55 points on the Blackshirts...if that doesn't shake you to reality, nothing will. Your only B10 championship game, Wisconsin opened a can of Whoop Ass on you never seen before. Melvin Gordon ran for over 400 yards against you. Are you seeing reality yet...or do I need to keep going?
I don't know guys. It just doesn't seem like a good matchup for Iowa. I think Nebraska is going to win. Nebraska has Iowa's number.
The only thing that keeps VHS repairmen employed in Nebraska is the fact that DVDs weren't really mainstream back when the Skirts won their last title, almost 20 years ago. That '95 Orange Bowl highlight tape still makes a great Christmas gift, however, only $9.95 at Husker Hounds...
I see. After Iowa wins tomorrow we will be 5-0 against common opponents while Nebraska's will be 1-4. Yep, pretty bad match up. There is no good rational for UNL winning, but I still will admit UNL might win. The only rational Nebraska fans have is the "we're a blueblood...we're Nebraska" types. In other words, nothing. All you have is an upset against an overrated MSU team. And that was a result of their poor play (plus a gift from the officials) more than anything UNL did. The thing is, even if Iowa wins, that won't stop UNL fans from thinking they are still relevant.
I would pay $$$ to watch these guys throw a football. Sue me but I'll bet they throw like a girl.
Call me crazy but that one guy appears to be right. Iowa does hate Nebraska because Nebraska represents everything Iowa will never be, but wants to be. One of the greats.
