It sure sounds like you don't know anything about our QB options next year so I'll take your word for it. Deuce is great and all but he won't be starting next season. We have some good talent coming up at QB and Petras should be the headliner. Look for the pass game to improve.

What's the over/under on threads on who the QB will be next year? I'm putting it at 1,500. Seriously, whoever wins the job I hope comes out on fire in 2020 or this board will be unbearable. The factions of the fan base have already split up into their favorites, despite none of the options having ever thrown a meaningful pass in a college game. If Hogan doesn't start and Petras isn't lights out, some will be convinced it's because "Ferentz won't play the best guy." I really look forward to those conversations.

Sensing those Iowa fans are going to be a very annoying and vocal minority the next 4 to 5 years. He’s a tough kid, I’m sure he’ll handle that noise with grace and won’t let his political views be a distraction.
