Anyone see this? Caught matinee yesterday and it was really good. Alexander Payne movie. Paul Giamatti was great, so was the rest of the cast. Kind of like Catcher in the Rye but the characters are more likable. If it was 20 years ago this would become a holiday movie cable channels reran over and over.

Planning to see it Friday. Gia matti is one of my favorite actors

Saw it today and very much enjoyed it.

It's set during Christmas break 1970, and on one of the days they show, it struck me that it was the day I was born, which was kind of surreal.

Watched it now that it’s included with Prime. Really, really good film. Probably my favorite film of the past year, and it’s been a good last year to choose from. The school cook’s performance was well deserving of the Oscar.
