With the announcement of Florida State coming to Iowa City for the Big Ten/ACC Challenge, probably time to run down the non-conference slate of games again.

Iowa will play at Marquette as part of the Gavitt Games. That's on November 19th. Iowa also travels to Ames in mid December and will face Drake in the Big Four Classic in Des Moines, also in December. Iowa will also participate in the Orlando Classic. Three games with eight teams. Matchup's have not been announced yet, but the other seven teams include: Notre Dame, Dayton, Wichita State, Alabama, Xavier, USC, and Monmouth. That event will be over Thanksgiving. Also have heard Iowa may be playing Western Illinois in the non-con.

I think that's all of them that are out there. That would fill 8 of the 13 non-conference slots. Pretty strong schedule, IMHO. FSU is pretty talented. The Bacon kid who played with Fleming at Oak Hill coming in. ISU is a top five/ten team preseason. Marquette will be much improved. Orlando Classic has four potential Top 25 teams in it in ND, Wichita, Dayton, and Xavier. I know some of you want name brand games, like the UNC one last year, but this, coupled with the Big Ten schedule, is going to be pretty salty.
