Iowa gets a major upset and puts an ass whooping on THE Ohio State.

BTN and other networks, 30 second blurb about OSU suffers hang over from big win vs, PSU and does not play well and loses to Iowa.

The sports media sucks and the BTN network might as well call itself the BTN East network.

There may have been some hangover, which is hard to avoid after an emotional win over a #2-ranked team via late comeback, but this game was clearly much more than that. You don't get stomped 55-24 (with one of your TD's a gift from Iowa's punter who thought it would be a good idea to fake one around his own 20, up 48-17) solely due to "hangover". Sure, tOSU may not have been as sharp as usual, but come on -- most teams face some adversity just about every week. tOSU got their butts kicked fair and square. Iowa was clearly the better team yesterday.

Maybe the BTN should consider the possibility that Iowa's better than they thought and that we're only a handful of plays from being 8-0, and that the loss of both senior starting OT's may have had a hand in limiting our offense early in the season. It's hard to believe that this game wouldn't be the biggest story this weekend on BTN and in the national media where college football is concerned.

O$U losing is big media losing. Ohio St football is a hog when it comes to ratings not just in Ohio but everywhere. Remember the media is a me first industry when it comes to covering events. It should be because the bigger the event the more money they make...may not be the best deal for a certain fanbase but it is a business. I tend to laugh at most of the critics....because they can go off on a coach or player and it is no big deal. When they get criticized for their lack of knowledge or just anything in general it is "how dare you". They forget sometimes why they are actually there....

And one of OSU's players (Lewis) said that they "EXPECT" to "dominate" everyone and they didn't. They just have to bounce back next week. I hope MSU kicks their "dominating" butts all over the field next Saturday.
