The Florida State Seminoles are entering this game against Boston College starting 3-0 and 2-1 against the spread. They have been able to succeed expectations

Right now the story surrounding the Seminoles is who will be playing QB on Saturday. Tate Rodemaker played well in relief of the injured Jordan Travis to secure the win vs Louisville.

The Eagles are 1-2 on the season but 0-3 against the spread and have not finished a game within one touchdown of the spread. Safe to say they have fallen short of expectations, while on the other end of the spectrum the ‘Noles have started out strong even with a QB injury.

8:00 p.m. eastern time on ACCN.

Weather Forecast: Mostly clear, with a low around 65. Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph.

How does one succeed expectations?

This is a huge opportunity for momentum building with the Noles. BC has historically given us fits, but primarily in Chestnut Hill; at the Doak, not so much.

First sellout in a long while won't hurt us either. I just hope they aren't rushing Travis back and if they get a big lead they put Tate in for more reps.

I’m in the opposite situation. Tee-ball, two birthday parties, and a soccer game today. Will be impressed with myself if I don’t fall asleep before halftime.
This. Soccer at 12:30 on the hottest day ever in September. And grandsons that keep farmer’s hours and wake up at 4. Ugh

Florida State Seminoles football has announced that its primetime matchup vs. the Boston College Eagles has sold out.

It’s the first sellout under the new capacity at Doak Campbell Stadium, which became 79,560 after renovations in 2016.

The last time Florida State sold out a home game was 2015 vs. Miami, a 29-24 victory.

2015 was also the last time before this season that Florida State started 3-0, going 6-0 to start the year.

In an era where ticket sales are struggling across sports as the view and experience from the couch rival the real-life thing, it’s an impressive feat. FSU came close in 2018 vs. Virginia Tech, and the Seminoles only sold out two games in 2014 and one in 2013.

Might be a high-scoring game versus Wake, hopefully, Clemson beats them up today

Clemson looks good today, their QB is way ahead of where he was last year

Wake is not backing down. 17-14 clemmons under six minutes left in the second quarter. Sam Hartman is a gamer. He just passed 10K career passing yards.

Whassup, jawja? Kent State is trailing 13-19. The Golden Flashes are showing flash.

PSU is having a hard time pulling away from Central Michigan....

And speaking of Michigan, Maryland is hanging on, too.

Miami is losing 17-3 second quarter to Middle Tennessee in front of about 9,000 fans (not hyperbole). On ACC Network.
