I just got home from bowling and the son of one of my teammates came home early from Lincoln for Turkey Day and stopped by the bowl. The word on campus is that the aggressor is a player (not Armstrong or Westerkamp), but they are doing a very good job of keeping his identity under wraps (at least until after Friday. It sounds like something similar to the Johnny Rodgers, Bobby Jones, Ralph Powell, Christian Peter, Lawrence Philips, etc. scenarios that have played out very questionably over the years with the University and LPD.
With the current huge emphasis on Title IX/ sexual misconduct protocols on college campuses, Nebraska best be very careful with how they handle this.
I am sure their new President, Hank Bounds, who seems to be something of a publicity hound, is aware of the extraordinary risk this matter may pose.

They better do the right thing or else outside the lines may have their next story. Saw their story last year on Missouri FB sweeping several sex allegations under the rug with one of their RBs.
Nebraska will announce suspensions for Armstrong and Westerkamp sometime Wednesday. Iowa might actually be favored at game time now.
I find this hard to believe, based on everything I've heard, they've all but been exonerated.

Why aren't you posting the independent investigation that was done that said KF and others did nothing to cover anything up.
Great idea though let's have an independent investigation done on the Lincoln PD. We can start with how they couldn't manage to charge a skirt football player with DWI when he was passed out drunk behind the wheel of a running car. Then after that we can turn the independent investigator lose on the current Lincoln PD "investigation".

For those that really think this is being swept under the rug or being handled by the coaches, take a moment and read the article below. Nobody within the football team is even involved in an investigation and the penalty, punishment, etc. is outside of the coach's control. Not that it will change anyone's perception of THIS situation, because you know, people don't like facts these days.

I actually heard something very similar to this this morning. I also heard that one of the girls is a big donors daughter. That's all I got.
