The reverse needs to be banned from the playbook

It's bad enough that this is the one and only "trick play" in the play book, and that a simple reverse hasn't been an actual trick play in probably 40 years, despite KF thinking its still fresh and can fool a defense. But the timing of when they are called is just comical. If it gets called again in 2022 then heads need to seriously roll.

very needed post. When do reverses work and why do they work? They work when your running game is just doing great with sweeps and off tackle plays when the defense is really over pursuing your called run.

But we are not running it at all so they are not over pursuing but staying home, GEEZ, not rocket science.

And it helps when the guy who gets the reverse is a speedster which we do not really have.
