I've seen the same image of this guy over and over again on different news channels. Bouncing, lurching, bearded, turbaned, scrawny lunatic

I can't help thinking the selection of these images is a deliberate effort to dehumanize the guy our ally killed - resulting in some more serious turmoil in the Middle East.

No I haven't but there probably are some we could use if we wanted to make him look like your friendly prof or Gandhi. But of course we don't want to do that. Maybe he really was a 24/7 psycho. But probably not.

Think about Hitler. Yeah, yeah, get over it. We all grew up on images of this funny-looking, strutting, screaming lunatic. We also saw him rousing enthusiastic, even reverent crowds. How can those 2 views both be right?

The guy was a terrific speaker. The cadence, the tone . . . you can see how compelling he was. Imagine the effect if he was also saying things you wanted to hear.

There was a famous altered clip of Hitler, showing him kinda dancing early in WWII, I think after some big surrender, like France. The guy that did the alteration, told about it after the war, I think. As far as him being a terrific speaker, non-German speakers would probably say no, since German spewed out loud and strident almost always invokes amusement and satire to us. Of course, not so to adoring German Hitlerphiles. Now, there are German songs I like, especially the lieder type.

Why don't we suddenly not want to do that? We did it with Mike Brown and Trayvon Martin, didn't we? We never showed their pics that showed them as gang member want of bees. Just their smiling happy good kid pics.

As for what else they are showing...I see lots of American flags being burned inside of SA embassies in lots of countries.

We do agree though...The press tell us what they want us to think. See the German press covering up the mass sexual assaults by ME immigrants on NYE. And see the Parisian press withholding the description of the attackers until well after it was already known by everyone that they were Muslim.
