My side story: upon leaving the game watch last week, i appoached my vehicle and noticed a piece of paper on my windshield. Somebody had scribbled with a black marker, "Nebraska will ruin your season next week. Go Huskers!"

I calmly drove home and burned it in effigy in the backyard.

The SI jinx WAS real. We had a regional cover, which means nothing. Are all the covers now regional? I don't know. It's 2015. I don't read magazines. Whatever jinx is now dead. A jinx because you are on the cover of a magazine would be like a pony express jinx.
