First off let me say that regardless how the Hawkeyes fare in the NCAA's, they have had a fine year and I back the players and the coaches 100%. Congratulations on our best year in 10 years and we may still have more success this year. But is history repeating itself?. Dr. Tom regularly got us to the NCAA's, NEVER lost a 1st round game, but because of seeding we frequently had to play a 1 or 2 seed in the 2nd game and didn't have great success in those games. So my question is, after the atrocious Lickliter era, Fran has got us back to where we were under Dr. Tom and in fact performed better in the conference than many of Tom's teams. Dr. Tom was axed because the fan base was split and Bowlsby wanted the next level. I supported Tom Davis to the end and feel that he got screwed. So.............here we are again. In the NCAA's semi-regularly, playing a team that is our equal in round 1 and then a #1 or #2 seed.

Thoughts?
