Basically, Washington Post reported that Trump would be attending, JMU Students mobilized to protest, but then 24 hours later it was confirmed that Trump never planned to be there, but they already stirred the pot so they've decided to show up anyway, not to protest the convention, or to say that anyone should support either party, but to protest Trump, who won't be there.
Hey man, they're kids. Some students created an event and over 800 people immediately agreed to be there, so they wanted to do something. I can't blame them, if I had 800 people raise their hand for something, I'd probably want to find a way to take advantage of that too, and JMU can turn out. They're a 1-AA football school, but when gameday showed up...
