The potential to jump as much as 5 or more spots exists with a win! 9-Florida, 12-Kentucky, 14-Wash St, 16-Tex AM all underdogs, 3 against lower/ unranked. 6-Texas (-3) @OSU, 15-Wash @ Cal and 13-WVirg doesn't have a gimme but may have a hang-over. Many ranked behind us could easily lose. If we lose we may not fall much also. Going to be an interesting weekend in CFB.

Maddening to think where this team could be without the idiotic mistakes against Wisconsin. But with those, it is equally maddening to have no idea what Hawkeye team is going to show up Saturday.

If Iowa plays a complete game (I'm NOT talking "perfect" game here) they could win 45-17. That would grab some attention. And I'd think BF will keep his foot on the gas.

On the other hand, if Iowa tries to get too cute and has some mistakes, I could see a 31-10 loss.

Jumping spots doesn’t matter. The CFP debuts this week and that is the only ranking that matters from here on out. And as a reminder, unlike the AP and coaches polls, it has very little (in theory) to do with where you started out.
