It’s hard to play through the post against those doubles and athletes. Garza made it work because he could score from all three levels and he had help with shooting.
Michigan needs to find a guy who can consistently score on different levels. It feels like a lot of one dimensional-ish guys out there.

Like many colleges, many supporters wanted Arizona to hire “one of the family”, someone with definite ties to Lute. They were skeptical of the hiring of longtime Zag assistant Tommie Lloyd. He has brought a breath of fresh air to basketball rabid Tucson. He has the Cats free flowing on offense and pressuring on defense. It’s obvious the players are having fun with his style of play and positive sideline demeanor. Time will tell but it looks like the Wildcats will be a force to be reckoned with in the West. Just hope the sins of Sean Miller don’t keep them out.
As I've said before, the conference looks soft as a marshmallow this year. If we can continue to improve, there's no reason we can't battle to at least the middle.
