Things I like about the upcoming game at Happy Valley

1) It's in the afternoon, not their dippy White Out that the media can
promote all week.

2) Indiana gave State Penn all they wanted on Saturday, while the
Hawkeyes thrashed the Hoosiers.

3) Iowas' Defense, Offensive Line, running game are just getting stronger every week.

4) Iowa is 2-0 on the road, this fall. Soon to be 3-0.

I would hope Iowa comes into this game a little salty after getting blown out two years ago and losing at the last second last year.

The bottomline is Iowa has to play well to win. Penn State is obviously very beatable, but they still have plenty of athletes and a hostile environment behind them. Iowa has to bring their A game to come out with a W.

I do like Iowa's chances a little better since it isn't a night game.

Iowa always makes me nervous, ever since the infamous 6-4 Iowa win. PSU has not only issues with matching up, they have a very disgruntled fanbase directed at coaching (myself included).

Not really worried about this one in any conditions- PSU dropped the last 2 at home and damn near got beat by App State. No home field advantage AT ALL. I know the players are on a mission to get back to where we were in 2015 and finish the job, and it will take a much better team than Penn State to derail that.

Yea we didn’t play well but we’ve been playing like that all year. Lots of stupid mistakes. The two safety’s on punts and the fumble in the red zone when were were about to go up 17 are perfect examples. Ferenz also did his homework and went for the fake FG. Our specials have been asleep at the wheel all season and you saw the results.

Stanley missed a few obvious throws but your TEs were as advertised and your Dline was solid. Just a weird game all around.
