Breeding my dog and selling the puppies, my dog is AKC registered red boston terrier & I am buying him a female companion, anyone here ever do this? What should I be aware of before they mate? Vet stuff cost etc..

On a side note.
My Mom was trying breed her pure bred Shih Tzu and had a friend’s pure bred over. I think he had a case of the gay and wasn’t interested apparently or Tiesha was an ugly Shih Tzu.
Anyway, she’s in the back yard and I’m taking a leak upstairs. I hear a hanging noise and Tiesha is barking. I look out and the neighbors piece of crap wiener dog is busting through the fence to get to her. I run down and catch said wiener banging Tiesha.
Thought I stopped it in time but a few months later Tiesha had the ugliest puppies imaginable. Had to give them away.
