This is........weird.

Did you not read your own article? Probably not the best time to dress in costume but there certainly was a reason.

When it was senior adviser Shimi Sharief’s turn to speak, it was clear the outfits were done as part of a discussion about how to celebrate Halloween safely amid the pandemic. Sharief, dressed in an animal onesie, said Oct. 31 could “still be spooky and fun” and provided safe alternatives to trick-or-treating.

Doesn't matter. Still very weird.

Maybe the clown thing was going for an "It'" horror vibe, with the sad virus news.

Dan Patrick, sports radio guy ... not the politician, has said many times he’ll never dress in costume for Halloween or other events during his show. Said if a story broke during the show that involved bad news (like a death, etc), the last thing he’d want is to sit there talking about it dressed as a clown or Darth Vader. Have always respected his professionalism.

They just listened to the President, he says we have turned the corner so they are all in for a normal Halloween, just like 45 says. I mean, he always tells the truth and is correct, right?

Or was this the trick part of his trick or treat?

Back to the original programming "the liberals are bad", yeah, this is in pretty bad form if it is real. Could have just had someone else come in dressed up and pointed to it as a good example, then addressed the topic. But hey, perhaps they took the "It is what it is" approach.
