This is why I support Trump (even though he is nuts)

I am tired of career politicians. I typically vote Republican, yet I am becoming more and more aware that neither the left nor right really seems to want to solve problems. They want to blame the other side and to create gridlock in our government. They become rich while debating issues for years, while never solving anything.

I have3 in-laws who work in DC (as as lobbyist, for a senator, and in the insurance policy industry). They hate Trump. I feel like they (and politicians in general) fail to see or accept why Trump is resonating with so many people. I feel Trump is doing this well because people want to send a message that we actually want our politicians to accomplish something, and that has not happened for some time.

My wife argued that she could support an anti-establishment candidate (like Trump) if he weren't so out there. I countered that if we want a change, Trump is the perfect candidate because he is loud and self funded. If he weren't, the political machine (and media) would have squashed him by now.

I wonder if those of you who write and link countless posts supporting 'your' side realize that this whole thing (politics) is nothing more than a game for the nerds. They have duped everyone into thinking that their way is superior, even though both sides basically play for the same team.

End of rant. Go Hawks.

Trump is an azhat that is no different than career politicians. He is ego... Period.
He has no ideas worth a $#it, and he is in no way "conservative". I have no idea how he ended up in this race; you might as well tell Hillary she can run as a Republican.

Career politicians have themselves and their party's best interest in mind and not the good of the entire country...no matter how they spew their rhetoric. I hate political correctness and that is the only reason Trump gets any attention from me. I don't think I could vote for him though..as I think Donald Trump only has Donald Trump's best interest in mind...

Sanders didn't have a party until recently. ;)
Bernie wants to change too much. I don't think it is so bad the way it is...Hillary has done nothing to deserve a Presidential nomination and Trump is too far out there. Some where I heard someone say this presidential election is like choosing between cancer and tuberculosis. I kind of agree...

Yes, Hillary has done nothing other than spending the majority of her adult life serving the people of the United States and the world, and working to make it a better place. Aside from that, nothing much.

Trump's followers want an asshole to go to Washington and break up the political cartel. Portraying him as an egotistical, unstable, or nuts just makes him seem all the more fit for the job.
