This might be a little tougher than Putin thought...

Expect less funding for Ukraine under a Republic led house. Nothing to argue about here, they're flat out saying it.

Unless you read the article...

"There's no need to pass a $40 billion bill when only $8 billion is going to Ukraine."

It goes on to say that Zelensky has been assured by Republicans that he will have strong bipartisan support and will continue to have everything he needs to fight.

So yeah...it's a headline meant to mislead, and unsurprisingly it worked swimmingly...

Reading the article generally means reading the first paragraph.

Here it is:

Rep. Mike Turner (R-Ohio) on Sunday said Congress does not need to pass “Democrat bills” with big price tags to help Ukraine, saying the incoming Republican majority in the House will spend less money to fund Kyiv’s war against Russia.

So, yes, according to the article, the "Republican majority in the House will spend less money to fund Kyiv’s war against Russia".

If you willfully ignore the truth revealed in the rest of the article...then you'll remain uniformed. Poor choice, but your choice nonetheless.

It’s not just that, although it is huge. There are probably hundreds of millions people in the world getting shit on by despots. It is also absolutely key depleting Russia’s military capacity while forging a stronger NATO and expanding it in the process, and exerting geopolitical dominance over Russia, and signaling to china they better watch their f!cking step. The economic hammer being dropped on Russia also cannot be underestimated, and china sees it could happen to them too. The article I linked above on the last page states it better than I can, with regard to china…. It is my opinion that people with a contrary view are simple haters (the other party can’t do anything they approve of), more suited for checkers than chess, stupid, or uninformed, or some combination thereof.
Totally agree good sir.

For any republicans here against funding Ukraine against its fight for survival against Russia, ask yourself what Ronald Reagan would do. He’d bury the needle at full throttle.

So would General Patton. Why would Republicans be opposed to thwarting Russia? I don’t get it.

I think ending the brutal murder, rape, and pillaging caused by Putin and the Russian military upon the people of Ukraine should be an easy decision for any person. Drive the bastards out of Ukraine. We have pissed around with these assholes long enough. Eff Russia.

It's because of which political Party occupies the WH.

It's just that simple.
Perhaps you all should read the article before posting. Says nothing about not supporting Ukrainian efforts.

I see your quote from King and raise you an actual breakdown of where the 40 billion went.

Which then makes you wonder what his goal is here. Well the goal is to absolutely decrease spending on Ukraine and pretend previous spending was “Democrat bills” stuffed with Democrat giveaways. They are doing it this way because they realize there is ton of support for Ukraine and they can’t be obvious. He literally is saying we spent too much on arming Europe and replacing weapons we are giving.

You will be mobilized shortly, and then you will die. I hope for you it is quick and not painful.
I’m registered with the selective service, but Biden is just drafting US dollars for the MIC.

You want to see American support for Ukraine evaporate, have Biden announce a draft and that he’s sending them to Ukraine.

We’ll send exactly zero conscripts to fight in Ukraine.

And yet - that particular line is completely irrelevant regardless because the basis of you position is flawed.
And yet, your position is flawed when you parse the bill and see where the money is actually going. It's not like the Ukraine bill included pork for some pet project of a legislator. Also, pray tell how the basis of my position is flawed.

Never said it did - but "$40B to Ukraine" was not a true statement was it?

Perhaps I am conflating your posts with others you "liked". Per the other article linked:

"The aid package provides $19 billion for immediate military support to Ukraine, continuing the effort that has been vital to sustaining Ukrainian resistance, and $3.9 billion to sustain U.S. forces deployed to Europe. The package also contains about $16 billion for economic support to Ukraine, global humanitarian relief, and a wide variety of international programs as well as $2 billion for long-term support to NATO allies and DOD modernization programs."

So $19B, not $8B, is for immediate military support for Ukraine, and another $16B is for Ukraine and humanitarian relief. I don't know how that is broken down. Then there is another $5.9B for US forces in Europe, DOD modernization programs, and NATO, which allows us to further support Ukraine in the war effort, either directly indirectly. I am not sure what part of that is "Democrat" or "objectionable." I am sure you will tell me why.

Why don't we see drones flying over the positions launching the rockets that are hitting cities and dropping mortars/bombs on the Russians
In many cases the missiles are launched from aircraft still deep in Russian airspace. Some are launched from ships and subs in the Black Sea. In both cases I assume other Russian aircraft are aloft to take down any planes or drones that could do damage.
I am dreaming of a remote control sub that could sneak up on one of those missile firing ships but imagine that is highly unlikely.

Would be nice if they could reach those sites and rain some hell on them.

Lies by omission are the most common form of propaganda. e.g. Mention the vote count for ‘impeachment’ without mentioning it failed to reach the constitutional requisite.
No wonder you’re confused.

The vote was 100% for removal after his foreign Russian national thugs murdered his own citizens. If he didn’t flee he would have stood trial for murder. No individual assumed power, an interim government had power until the next vote.

You don’t seem to understand how a coup works. It is a flat out lie to call what happened a coup, only the Kremlin calls it that because they are pathological liars.

The vote was 100% for removal
If 65 Senators vote to 'remove' Biden, is that actually 'a thing'?

You know they didn't follow the impeachment procedure, nor did they obtain the votes prescribed by the impeachment procedure. You know this now. Before you could say you weren't aware, but now you know he wasn't impeached.

Even the BBC recognizes our meddling during the coup.
Read the transcript yourself.

What do you think Nuland and our ambassador in Ukraine were trying to do besides meddle in the replacement of an elected government that was pursuing a policy the neocons didn't like?

Meddling does not equal a coup. A vote was had to assume power. That is not a coup.

Russia meddled in US 2016 election. We don’t call it a coup.
