This might be a little tougher than Putin thought...

You got that right. Remember the days of Dan Rather showing us how Stingers worked in Afghanistan circa 1980?

Now tell me, of the slate of CNN, MSNBC, or Fox primetime hosts, which could you envision doing something like that today?

...and please don't say Anderson Cooper.
Isn't Cooper inside Ukraine? I don't watch his show, but I'm pretty sure he's reporting from inside the country.

I'm guessing the countries are those that already announced they wouldn't take anything anyways.

Watch many of the other half of Republicans who weren't already openly siding with Putin to begin to now.
Putin is counting on certain Merican politicians hindering the US/NATO effort. It's kind of disgusting because we never saw the lefties supporting Saddam when the BushBoyz were President.

But you can bet your ass that the WH will be blamed after the Russian oil decision.

This is wartime... it's hopefully only short term pain for long term gain.

I find it surprising/extremely disappointing, that some corporations haven’t halted doing business in Russia until they found themselves on a “bad” list.

Talk about CEOs having no conscience.…not halting business in Russia, absent public pressure, is clear evidence of that.

Nice to see a Global Hawk loitering over the Black Sea at about 53,000 feet. Call sign FORTE12 if you'd like to search on Flightradar24. Been doing this for many many hours.

FORTE12: https://www.flightradar24.com/multiview/2b0ae491

Also, just scads of Globemasters, C-130s, Tankers, etc. British and Canadian heavy transports as well. Almost all going into Rzeszow, Poland.
I’m actually at work. No place near the Black Sea 😆

Is Pepsi one of the last standing? I thought I heard they do 3 billion a year in Russia, although I am not entirely sure of that figure

Why deflect? Unable to bring yourself to say you think helping the Saudi regime invade Yemen was a bad idea, or do you think it was a good idea, and is bearing good fruit?

So yeah, what about the war of aggression on the Arabian peninsula that the US has actively supported for years and that has killed thousands and thousands of people, and threatens 100s of thousands more with starvation?

What about that war?
Shouldn't we at least stop helping the authoritarian Saudi regime kill Yemenis?
I'm not saying we need to start shipping weapons to the people trying to repel the invaders, or even that we should impose a no fly zone.
But maybe we could quit fixing the planes dropping cluster bombs in Yemen?
For starters?
Why do you keep derailing the thread with these bullshit lies? The Saudis, US, and UN back the government. The Houthi rebels are backed by Iran. We should join the Saudis and UN by bombing the rebels once the Ukraine War is over. Once the Houthis put down their Iranian supplied arms, civilians in the occupied areas will stop suffering. Even Russia backs the UN-supported government:

UN Security Council Extends Arms Embargo to All Houthis

The arms embargo previously applied only to some leaders of the Houthi rebels in Yemen. Russia voted to extend the embargo despite its ties with Iran, which backs the Houthis (Al Jazeera).

Good stuff right here.

I don't believe this for a second, but I'm glad he lied about it!! :)

Has any third party or foreign country helped with supporting the Resistance Movement?

“Not yet,” Anton insists, although he is hoping to change that. His organization addressed a letter to a top Ukrainian official urging him to ask U.S. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, as well as CIA Director William Burns and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, to help support his guerrilla battalion.

“At the moment we have only materials sent from the West, but no Western instructors on the ground. We’ve been in communication with retired SAS [British special forces] and former U.S. military guys, but they’re not deployed here.”

It’s mocked because there are some enormous dullards drooling on themselves cheering on assholes like you.
Yeah like sweep the leg Johnny she’s daring to debate you. Fact: you and your ilk hate facts, truth and common sense.

Aren’t you supposed to be “somebody” on the football board? Are there people who think you know shit from shinola over there? That’s laughable.
Back off. You’re being a clown and you’re also being exposed. Hint: if I were you I’d quit while I was ahead.
Okay Svetlana, Достаточно.

Those poles aren't so dumb after all. Very clever of them to basically say that they're not going to put their asses on the line for introducing them into the theater. They'll supply them, but we have to introduce them. And particularly to announce it that way without (according to one article) necessarily having the us on board with that plan.

Similarly, i just saw that Hungary is a no-go on russian oil sanctions, which i guess makes sense if they're your largest oil supplier.

micro-fissures at the edges. we are at a delicate juncture.

it's not as easy as it sounds. being a ceo is not being a king, and in fact, if you consciously take action that may hurt shareholder value, you may see securities/fiduciary lawsuits. particularly inasmuch as the russkies are saying you can't just take your assets home with you. Yes, the plaintiffs' securities bar is in fact that low.

The German pol <Russian stooge> actually goes over what lead us <criminal Russians> to this point <invading a peaceful neighbor and committing genocide of the citizens there.>
Phenom might learn something watching it <the Putin approved rationale for invasion>, but he got triggered by a hashtag <refuses to accept Russian propaganda even if proffered by a German.>

Dah comrade. I do refuse your propaganda.

I call broadcasting from Lviv being in-country. You have some other definition? Please share. Are you closer to the shooting?

Makes your bosses angry?
Water carrier and stooge! Impressive exercise of throwing poop against the wall of some big bad preppie because your superiors are frustrated with him?
Literally have no idea what he’s spouting because I don’t watch him but damn he sure gets under the left’s skin.
This is a cop out. I don't watch him either, but can you see how problematic it is that the number one 'news' show is spouting off Russian propaganda in the United States, right?

Get a load of the jabronis! On the other hand, I kind of love that here in America, these dipshits are allowed to carry on -- we don't need to quash free speech here, even if it is by morons.

Just…wow. Had no idea that was taking place in the U.S. But, our true freedom of speech is a major factor in what helps make the U.S. the best country in the world.

These guys get up each morning, freely spread their bullsh*t, with no worry of our version of the KGB rounding them up and sentencing them to 15 years in a gulag.
