This might be a little tougher than Putin thought...

I literally have no ****ing idea what you are talking about. I said what I said because he put my name in one of his post and I saw it as I was skimming. He then proceeded to make a claim he has zero backing for regarding something I have supposedly said about some ****ing Fox News guy.

Ball your fist and **** yourself.

*Also, wrong thread butt****. Ukraine vs Russia.
You know exactly what I'm talking about but chose to represent that you don't. Lie in the bed you made for yourself.

Probably not this tank but there was a story on Tik Tok by a female Ukranian "reporter" that was quite amusing. Even if not true, it is still funny. There actually is quite a bit of this war being played out on Tik Tok. Here's how the story went:

Russian tank runs out of gas on the far outskirts of some Ukrainian town.
Russian soldiers leave tank to go into town and get gas.
Ukrainian soldiers take a part from the tank that is required to start it.
Russian soldiers return to the tank and put gas in it. The tank won't start.
Russian solders figure out it needs the part and head back to town to get something/rig to start the tank.
Ukrainian solders put the part back in the tank and drive the tank away.

Well sai
Battles are won by good troops, good equipment, good preparation, good planning, and good luck.

Wars are won by good logistics. It is the reason that the UK holding out against the Nazis was so important. We were able to use England as a staging location for our logistics in Europe to launch and support an invasion. If we didn't have that it would have been nearly impossible to deliver the troops, equipment, vehicles, food, fuel, etc. to support an invasion of Europe from across the ocean back in 1944.

In the case of China, their ability to fight and win a war depends upon the location of the war. Somewhere close to mainland China and they have a shot of keeping front line troops and vehicles supplied. Elsewhere and they don't have the global footprint to supply them.

That is exactly the reason that the US has bases around the globe, numerous aircraft carriers and protective fleets around the globe, and treaty relationships with numerous countries around the globe. There's roughly 3 support troops for every combat troop in the US Army.

Does China have that kind of logistics support for their troops? It seems that Russia may not
well said.

I find it surprising/extremely disappointing, that some corporations haven’t halted doing business in Russia until they found themselves on a “bad” list.

Talk about CEOs having no conscience.…not halting business in Russia, absent public pressure, is clear evidence of that.
I'm surprised that you are surprised. We fostered a system in the US that money comes before all else. Should it change, Absolutely.

So how long can Russia keep this up? It seems to get worse for them each day.
They can likely keep the shelling going on for quite a while, especially if we're not going to give Ukraine any type of real air support. At the very least they have a ton of missiles that they can simply drop indiscriminately on civilian buildings. Its quite possible that their strategy has changed from overtaking Ukraine and installing a puppet government and instead to simply do so much damage that Ukraine becomes a 3rd world country with no real threat to Russia in the foreseeable future.
