This might be a little tougher than Putin thought...

I have not read through this entire thread, but has this question been answered: What is the deal with the washing machines? Is there a shortage of washing machines in Russia, and these guys think they will be able to get them back home?
Many of the Russians are from poor areas that lack even flush toilets. So they are delighted to loot TVs and washing machines.

I run across some interesting RUMINT regarding the Polish material support for Ukraine. None of this is confirmed, and most likely won't be until the war is over, but some numbers began to float in Polish twittersphere lately.
Rumor has it we sent even more BMP-1s than the declared 300 tanks. This means that away went all our legacy IFVs that were in running condition. Also, the number of delivered 2S1s is allegedly above 100 (semi-official number was about 20) - these are old of course, but modernized with world quality TOPAZ BMS.
And a cherry on top of that, there are supposedly 3 battalions of Krab in Ukraine already, meaning 54 vehicles (minus 1 confirmed destroyed).

Partially answered. The soldiers are poor and want them. There is also an effort to loot stuff that have computer chips in them due to the shortage of chips in Russia due to sanctions. The chips are then used for munitions.

I like the Poles moving up forces to the border. Some might see an escalation, but to me the move by Belarus is simply to appease Putin and make Ukraine hold soldiers in reserve. This gives Belarus something to think about, and rethink where they put their forces.

In June 2022, Headquarters, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, will support the U.S. Army V Corps' mission to reinforce NATO’s eastern flank and engage in multinational exercises with partners across the European continent in order to reassure allies and deter further Russian aggression. The deploying 101st Soldiers did not represent additional U.S. forces in Europe, but are taking the place of Soldiers assigned to 82nd Airborne Division Headquarters and the 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team of the 82nd Airborne Division.[135]

On 30 July 2022, the Headquarters, 101st Airborne Division and 2nd Brigade Combat Team uncased their colors and conducted an air assault demonstration at the 57th Air Base "Mihail Kogălniceanu" together with the 9th Mechanized Brigadeof the Romanian Armed Forces. The event was attended by Maj. Gen. Joseph P. McGee and the Prime Minister of Romania, Nicolae Ciucă.[136]

If it was looting ordered from the top to scrounge microchips you would think they would just harvest the chips and not make those bastards carry the mechanical carcass.

For context that is more than our total combat deaths of Vietnam, Gulf War 1, Afghanistan, and Gulf War 2 combined. As the war reaches 8 months, it also equates to an average of almost 280 dead orcs a day. That is about the rate we lost boys in WWII, a war that spanned hundreds of fronts on the entire globe. Not a war front the size of east Texas.
