Moving on to rivalry week…some random thoughts:
*Hard to tell much from the first week - isu beat a SE Missouri State team that lost to Tennessee Tech last year…granted SE MO State lost to them last year, but Tennessee Tech also got wrecked by Kansas in week 1.
*First game at Kinnick for many isu players, so hopefully the Iowa fans keep giving the Hawks a home field advantage. I will really be curious to see how Dekkers plays in his first start at Kinnick - not exactly playing SE MO State at Jack Trice.
*Gotta keep the CyHawk Trophy! Iowa can keep proving that it’s the Hawkeye State, but most importantly, we don’t have to listen to delusional isu fans crowing with a Hawkeye victory!
