He wrote a book that said "if i did it, this is how i would have done it."

practically an admission of guilt to me...

incompetent prosecution and LE let him off the hook.

No, he did not.

We have been through this so many times on these boards!

Basically, the prosecution decided early on that OJ was their guy, so they worked up the evidence to fit a sort of almost, but not quite plausible scenario.

Either he was innocent or the Police were attempting to frame a guilty man.

Innocent men don't run from cops.

OJ Jr. (Jason L. Simpson) seems like a likely suspect. He's had mental problems for quite a while.

I have no idea if he did it or not. I do know that OJ spent a lot of time here looking for Nicole's killer. Here is a pic of him searching....

OJ was easily one of the most recognized celebrities in the United States and that he was very social and travelled extensively. It is ludicrous to believe that the LA police, having no idea where OJ was and/or whether he would have a rock solid alibi decided "hey, let's go plant a bloody glove on his estate!" And, as fate would have it, the LA police simply got lucky that OJ happened to be in LA that night and had no alibi.

He did it, but they let him off because it was supposed to solve all the racial issues in LA between law enforcement and people who remembered Rodney King.

I'm sure he spent some time looking in the woods that day.

OJ had a history of beating her. I dont know what the percentages are, but I bet when women with abusive partners/ex-partners are murdered, it is the abuser most of the time.

This is purely anecdotal, not evidence, but my mom's best friend fits this. Husband was in jail for beating her>>> husband is released>>> county doesn't tell her he has been released>>> she opens the door to go to work and he's standing there>>> he beats her to death in her living room.

The LAPD got caught framing a guilty man.
This, as others have mentioned. They took a slam dunk case and fiddled around and lost it. The police and prosecution both blundered away what should have been an easy case.

Didn't help to have a racist cop investigating and a DA who was in over her head.

Yep. My thought is that OJ was guilty as hell and the LAPD and DA did, literally, everything they could to screw it up. And yes, I do mean literally. That case has to be a textbook example of how not to investigate/prosecute a crime.
