In 2015, Iowa came within a game, but Michigan State advance by winning the Big Ten Championship Game 16-13. Since that loss in the CFB Playoff, a new head coach has been hired.
Michigan advances. Iowa went 0-2 in the Big Ten for the second straight season. The Hawkeyes won one more game going 7-2, rather than 6-2, but winning remains hard, when major opportunities are on the line.
Hard to argue.
The Hawkeyes are 10-3, equal to the 2019 season. A fourth straight bowl win is something quite rare. Either Iowa or Kentucky is going to achieve.
An 11-3 record would be one more game than 10-3. Not the ultimate goal, but it would be an accomplishment and another positive accomplishment for the seniors.
Since 2016, Iowa has won against every program in the Big Ten. Next season, the B1G 2 returns for Iowa and all of the Big Ten again.
