I'm not exactly sure what KF meant by that "they look like an SEC defense". Likely meant as genuine praise coming from him, but kinda reads like it comes off as sarcastic smartassery.
After all, that "SEC defense" would have completely shut out Iowa's offense a mere 363 days ago.
lol, why isn’t he playing then? We don’t exactly have an “embarrassment of riches” at the WR position and a little bit of “ball skills” would sure come in handy especially earlier in the year.
I bet if Wetjen opted for the portal:
- Very good teams would come calling for his return skills alone
- Iowa would give him a scholarship in under 4.3 seconds

Gonna be hard to keep five or six QBs happy when Kirk only plays one QB the entire season unless they can't play through injuries.
I hope Sullivan has a great game and has figured out how to slide at the end of his rushes. If he can't go for any reason, I also have faith in Stratton. Just wish they had better targets.
