If they fire him they are stupid. Nebraska is a volleyball school not a basketball school. They will be dead last in the big ten if they fire him behind Rutgers, and I'm not a miles fan.
He should get more than that they aren't going to find a better coach and has pulled in some top 100 recruits something Nebraska only gets once every 10 years.I think Miles gets one more season ...
I actually hope all three of these coaches stay foreverI don't mind him and think he gets at least another year (unless they absolutely bottom out next year).
Groce and Crean are the ones I'd like to see get stuffed through a hoop.
I should clarify ... Meaning, I think they may pull the plug if he isn't successful next year. Personally, I think he is a good fit for Nebraska ... Seems like a genuine guy ... Gets good recruits ... Not sure who else Huskers could get.He should get more than that they aren't going to find a better coach and has pulled in some top 100 recruits something Nebraska only gets once every 10 years.

Jacobson to NE
Miles to UNI
once they fire prohm in a 2-3 years
Yep, a part of me, the part thinking that this season was over at the time, wanted IU to beat us in Carver so Crean could turn the burner down a bit on his seat. I can't think of two coaches, Crean and Groce, who do less with more.I actually hope all three of these coaches stay forever
I agree I think Prohm is going to be a keeper at ISU.I dunno, Prohm seems to be doing OK so far.
I can't believe that Miles has not restored Nebraska Basketball back to its historically dominate national status.
Not me. But I hope he stays a long time. Agree with he's gone in 3 years.I agree I think Prohm is going to be a keeper at ISU.
Has a basketball team ever done less with more?
ISU last year?Has a basketball team ever done less with more?
ISU last year?
I could see Ben going to the Illini or NC State.
Miles will get another year or two then he will be toast if he doesn't have a winning year in 18. He has a lot of talent and coming in, just doesn't know how to coach it and spends too much time worrying about the officials calls.
That's what happens when you aren't a bball school - no benefit of the doubt with the calls. Same as PSU in hoops. Talk about two underachieving universities with rich football traditions. Not sure how Kansas isn't better in football too. Oh yeah, they fired their coach for being too fat but used the "he was mean to players" line. Toughen up Sally's, it's college football, not tiddly winks.
I understand what you're saying. That actually means they didn't have "more" to do less withI don't know Terre...Nebraska has had one winning conference record in 18 seasons...
Calling it.
