The OTT failure by this joke of an institution is the final straw for me. I hope the BIG adds 2 more teams and starts the chain affect of the other major conferences minus the B12 who would fold to add more and than tell the NCAA where to go.
BIG needs to add OU and KU and Virginia, that would be stellar, ND would beg to join then and we are set.I think you are right. Might as well do away with the charade that is the NCAA and the conferences can just pay them what they feel is right. Have a superconference governing body and be done.
Feeder system for the NFL that happen to be on college campuses.

Based on what? I had 16 in my head as well but why? NCAA will be no more I don't think it matters.I was under the impression we'd have to stop at 16 teams though?

Yeah, are you denying the NCAA is a joke? End the nonsense and deregulate. You do realize the Big 10 said no to Ott as well, right?
Not the reason, just sick of the NCAA, in a bad mood today this just set me off the edge. Everything going on with that corrupt joke of an institution that keeps claiming "student athletes" this and that while banking Billions is a disgrace.I'm good with the idea, but Ott being the reason is kind of odd. Considering some of the dumb things the NCAA has done in the last five years, there's about 10 things you could use as better reasoning/examples.
Why do you thing the BIG and SEC could co-exist/compete with each other without some governing body? The OTT failure by this joke of an institution is the final straw for me. The 4 super conferences would come up with bylaws but it would be vastly down scaled from what it is now and the stupidity of the NCAA.Why do you thing the BIG and SEC could co-exist/compete with each other without some governing body?
