For those that love to blast the naysayers and the people with minor complaints after a win...this is why. The naysayers said this would be the downfall. 6-7 games of playing good defense doesn’t stop the trend of Iowa basketball under Fran.
It doesn’t matter if you’re are an optimist or pessimist, this hurts equally for all of us.
With that said, I do like what Iowa has coming back next season. I think they can be a tournament team for sure. Get a transfer or two and let’s make a run. It’s going to start at the defensive end....for once.
