Kirk teams almost always start slow, especially the offense. Too bad they don't play those clowns at the end of the season.

Iowa tried for a kill shot against Iowa State. But McNamara threw a pick on first down throwing back across the field that he should have thrown away. Today he hit the receiver in stride for a TD.
Still don’t understand why we didn’t try a fg. Our kicker was kicking 60 yarders at halftime today.

still goes back to Iowa not scoring twice on first and goal from the one. Even with that, ISU needed a miracle FG from 54 yards to win. That kid is now missing Field Goals 10 yards shorter. Iowa scores a td even one time from the one and game is over. ISU having a good season. Kudos.
I am looking forward to next season in Ames when ISU will be preseason ranked in the top 10. (mostly because there is not a legitimate top 20 team in the entire BIG 12.) ISU would be no better than 5th in the BIG this season and no better than 8th in the SEC this year. Iowa will come into Ames and win for SEVENTH consecutive time and the ISU season will be ruined. just like the Iowa season this year)
