I posted earlier video of Iowa's Final Four game in 1980 to commemorate today's NCAA tourney announcements. Getting into the tournament today is Step 1.
Let's then win our next four and see if we can then pack Carver to welcome the team back and congratulate them on getting to the Final Four just like in the picture below on that magical Sunday night in late March 35 years ago in Iowa City at the old Fieldhouse.
Keep in mind folks, the Iowa team did not even arrive back to the Field House until midnight or after that night. As you can see, the place was completely packed! I remember the two times Iowa won the B1G conference tourney under Alford there were a few thousand fans welcoming the team back to Carver just for that. The Iowa fans are ready to break out!
