Too many turnovers

Turnovers by everybody and way too many. And an off-night shooting from outside. Defense not tough, especially 1st half. Our scorers were Jok 14; Bohannon 12; Wagner 10; Pemsl 9; Moss 8; Cook 8; Kriener 4; Baer7; Ellingson 3; Jones 0; Williams 0. We could have won this with good defense and fewer TOs. We did out-rebound Maryland 40 - 37, and hit our free throws. On the radio, three players singled out as players of the game: Ahmad Wagner, who gave Iowa a spark with 10 aggressive points; Combo player was Nicholas Baer and the Hot Shot player was Cordell Pemsl; who in the second half had seven of his nine points, two blocks, a steal, 4 boards, and no second half turnovers. Jok and Bohannon both were fairly cold, shooting in the 30s, and around 28% from the three (5-17).

Plus only 7-28 for 3. Granted least our offensive rebounding was good for once.

Maryland 21 turnovers and giving us 19 offensive boards. But agree had no business being this close let alone be up 3 with under 4min to play.

It seemed like 10 of those TOs came in 1st 12 minutes, & 4-5 in 1st 3minutes. Tuff when you start ouy 0-8, & it only gets worse!!!
