Who you got on this years Taylor Walsh/Dylan Ness fun to watch list?

No particular order:
- Lujan - UNI
- Brother Walsh - Rider
- Kemerer - Iowa
- Tareo - American (I know)
- Dean - Cornell

Im only listing guys I've actually watched video on from this year.

I'll throw a bone to our ISU brothers and say I think Earl Hall is fun to watch. Yes, he's inconsistent and no, he hasn't really improved a lot over the course of his career, but he's always just a cement mixer or some funky throw away from a big score.

At Midlands, he hit a lateral drop for 6 to win in the last 10 seconds. Not a great opponent and he shouldn't have needed the late score to win the match, but exciting, nonetheless.

Maybe honorable mention.

I'd also add Gilman in there somewhere. Probably a little more entertaining in interviews than on the mat, but he's on a mission this year and will be piling up the points. Also, he's Iowa haters' new favorite Hawk to despise, which adds some entertainment value all by itself.

True a W is a W and I need to stop being so critical. Stick to the fun matches....

I-Mar would be on my list...

How about top 5 "would rather watch paint dry" than their matches?

Not sure where on the list but Sorensen and Meyer would both be on the list...and most Heavies other than Snyder and sometimes Stoll...

Shades of Morningstar...
You know, you got me thinking. Remember how brutal the Morningstar/Andrew Howe matches were? You knew it would come down to RT in TB2 every match! One guy would get a leg and spend 1:30 trying to suck it in only to have it stalemated.

Good times my friends. Good times.

Aaahh... memories.
Suddenly I had flashbacks to FS wrestling, before the recent rule changes, where Dustin Schlatter had 2 matches that went like this:

0-0 (ball grab, won by Schlatter)
0-0 (ball grab, won by Schlatter)

0-0 (ball grab,won by Schlatter)
0-0 (ball grab,won by Schlatter)

Action at its finest!

World team trials finals right?

I saw Kemerer for the first time in the Midlands final. If all his matches are that action packed then he'll make a lot of top 5 fun to watch lists. He has an exciting, nonstop offense style.

Nolf - the guy wrestles with the constant pressure similar to the Iowa greats, but has an offensive arsenal much bigger and more creative than a guy like Gilman.

Snyder - so damn good.

Imar - His explosiveness is on another level. Don't think I've ever seen someone who can explode their hips like him.

Gilman - so physical and aggressive.

Downey - Not defending his off the mat antics, but I just think he's fun to watch. Modern day Randy Lewis. So strong and wants to toss everyone.

Did anyone notice during Sorenson's match how M* seemed to be getting annoyed with the pace and telling Sorenson to get going? I couldn't help but laugh at that.

Nolf- Guy is constantly attacking would have made a great Hawk with his pace, but he's a PSU guy so I hope Kemerer rips him up.

Gilman-How can you not enjoy watching him just keep pressuring his opponent till they completely break mentally and physically.

Imar- Powerful, explosive, looking to score even at the end of the match.

Retherford-I hate him because he is a PSU guy but I love his style of attacking.

Kemerer-Can't wait to watch him the next 4 years as he continues to get better

Honorable mention since we aren't sure if either of them will wrestle this year in our lineup

Young & Marinelli- Love their attitudes, love that they are willing to take risks and can't wait to see them over the next 4 years helping the Hawks win titles.

IMart to me is the #1 guy to watch. He does stuff on a constant basis that you don't see anyone else do, and he does so regardless of the caliber of his opponent. He's a "rolling ball of butcher knives".

I try not to post anymore, but can't let this one slide. Be careful about Lewboo comparisons! There are VERY few that can be compared to him and his creative funk and pinning obsession (Gene Mills? Cary Kolat?).

I'd pick Imar for #1. Cat like quickness, explosive, can hit big moves.

Kemerer just moved up, makes top 5 for this admittedly biased hawk fan.

Walsh made his case. A big move guy, like his brother.

Gilman, Retherford, Dean, Snyder... all fun to watch.

oops...up to 7, better stop

Didn't I read somewhere Randy was at a frat party and fell out of a 2-3 story window and as the crowd gathered below to check out if he was all right the cops showed up as he gathered his wits enough to tell them he didn't know what was happening since he just got there also. too funny and definitely creative. BTW, I want kemerer and mozzarelli and lee and young and carton to transfer immediately to psu.
