Haha good point @CarolinaHawkeye, I was going to exclude the "past 30 years" annotation, but knew that there would be some pointing out older matches. I thought about going further back (Gable-Owings) but didn't feel as though I possessed enough knowledge of that era to go that far back. Good catch though!!!Of all time(past 30 years). Why did I find that funny?![]()
The fact that I felt made Rohn vs. Lambrecht so intriguing is that you had a #6 and #8 meeting in the finals meaning both men pulled off some huge upsets. As the video mentioned, Rohn pulled off four falls in a row including the championship and the fact that he was essentially all but beaten and then pulled out one of the biggest moves in history solidifies his spot. Rohn also had a severely injured hand all the while.I skimmed the video enough to see the list, but did not listen to the justification of each. There are some changes I'd make.
#5 Dake v Taylor
#4 Imar v Joseph
#3 Hahn v Trenge
#2 McIlravy v Abas
#1 Rohn v Lambrecht
The Rohn vs Lambrecht shouldn't be on the list, especially at #1. It had a crazy ending, but an overall boring match, and nothing really special about either wrestler.
The other one I'd perhaps remove is Imar v Joseph. That was a good match, and the stakes were high, so I could see leaving that on there. Although, I'd consider Metcalf vs. Caldwell instead. It was a bigger upset (imo), and equally as exciting.
Another I'd probably add is Snyder vs Gwiz. Definitely better than your #1 in any way. Tons of hype, two amazing wrestlers, Snyder bumping up after a world title, overtime. This was a great match.

Please elaborate...Numbers 1, 3 and 4 shouldn't sniff a list like this. At least numbers 2 and 5 can be argued.
