Contest lasts until all questions are answered correctly, or until Noon on Sunday. All questions pertain to the 2014/15 Big Ten regular season.

1) Name the three longest winning streaks and the teams who enjoyed them.

2) Cumulative scores. Which Big Ten team was part of both the lowest scoring Big Ten game (Tie), and highest scoring (ending in regulation) Big Ten game?

3) Which team had the fourth worst losing streak, and managed to do it twice?

4) Which team scored the lowest points in a Big Ten game?

5) What was the cumulative highest score in a Big Ten games? Hint, overtime.

Good luck.

4. I'm going to guess Nebraska. I seem to remember a game where they barely broke into double digits in the first half but can't remember for sure.

I might have guessed that as well. But no.

3) Which team had the fourth worst losing streak, and managed to do it twice

I would guess it was Penn State who lost 6 games in a row twice.

4) Which team scored the lowest points in a Big Ten game?

Penn State 39 @ Northwestern 60

5) What was the cumulative highest score in a Big Ten game? Hint, overtime

Minnesota 90 @ Michigan State 96 =186 points

This might be another good question for future trivia.

What Big Ten team played the most overtime games in Big Ten regular season games and what was their record in those overtime games. Sure a good way for a player to pad their stats but it kept this team from being in the upper deck of the standings.

I had to look up the record. Michigan State 1-4! (Regular season Big Ten)

You are correct about #5. Good job!

Only one to go.

2) Cumulative scores. Which Big Ten team was part of both the lowest scoring Big Ten game (Tie), and highest scoring (ending in regulation) Big Ten game?

This one was a little more difficult but maybe I searched it out the hard way by opening up all the team's schedules.

Since no one else has responded I will post my findings below.

Big Ten teams with the lowest scoring game (tie).

Penn State 46 at Rutgers 50 = 96 points

Illinois 43 at Nebraska 53 = 96

Rutgers also played in the Big Ten game with the highest score in regulation.

Rutgers 85 at Purdue 92 = 177

Thanks for the trivia questions DanL53.

Nailed it! Congrats! Amazing a difference in scoring of 35 points for Rutgers.
