What is a good 3 point shooting percentage for teams in the tournament? A lot of people complain about the ball, and I am one of them. I think how well a team shoots from 3 is a better indication of the quality of the ball then inside the paint.

I or someone else can check that, but it seems to me, without really looking, that scoring is down so far this year in the NCAA Tournament.
All the NCAA games are 'neutral court' - you would need to compare "Wilson Ball era" games to NCAA games played earlier.
I did it yesterday and if my numbers are right, it came out to 31% for the first two rounds.
Seems average, but would be interesting to see compared to previous NCAA tournaments.
Don't compare to regular seasons, as the pressure of the tournament can absolutely cause worse shooting compared regular season.
Teams made 471 out of 1498. That included the first four games as well.
It would also be interesting to see which teams use the Wilson ball during the season and what their percentages were.
