Fran’s love fest for Bohannon is just mind boggling. Refusing to sit him even when he plays bad on offense along with his usual lackluster effort on D. Or he won’t even sit Connor and play JoeT at the 1 and Bohannon at the 2. I don’t blame Toussaint at all if he leaves. Frans stubbornness on refusing to sit Bohannon is costing us on the court and bet it will off the court once season is over.

I don't think there's been a single game where Toussaint hasn't turned the ball over while dribbling within 1 minute of coming in. It's the weirdest thing for a PG in all of D1 ball.

Connor at PG is absolutely laughable. He is everything a point guard shouldn't be. Slow, can't beat anyone off the dribble, ball handling is suspect, can't shoot to save his life. He wouldn't even see the floor on any other team.

let’s see how good Connor’s assist to to ratio is next year when he doesn’t have the luxury of getting it to luka down low. That’s about his only positive attribute he has. He’s a bench player any where else

had one about 3 min in and pulled. Later in half threw it away on inbounds play where we had no movement. Only player fran pulls after one bad mistake. Can see his confidence is shot. Worst thing in b-ball is having a guy in there worried about making a mistake will get him sent to the bench. Did he play well in there today. No he didn’t but did Connor, Patrick,
Nunge or Perkins? Even Bohannon did he really deserve to play whole 2nd half again? Did any of them have a short leash, nope.

Indiana's guards are terrible offensively, it made perfect sense to go give JBo extended second half minutes. Especially after JT turned it over twice in only a couple of minutes.

Fouls and 2nd one came in last 90 seconds. But to play devils advocate when Bohannon’s piss poor D leads to easy baskets on multiple trips does he deserve to get pulled? How about connors lackluster play?

I don’t have an issue with benching a guy it’s funny how one guy has a short leash and rest don’t when lot of them played pretty bad today. Let alone you don’t even play him for 1 second in the 2nd half.

He had 3pts 2 reb 1 asst today in 24 min. He was in there for both starts to the halves when went up 8-10 pts. But just because he was out there for + what ever he didn’t really do much to contribute to it. So no I don’t think he played well

Im not going to pretend JBo is a lockdown defender or even a serviceable one at that. It appears Fran has gone with Ferentz style where it doesn’t matter how bad it gets, just don’t turn the ball over approach. JBo played better defense today than he did against OSU. That or Indiana didn’t exploit it as much as OSU did.

Again with the Connor playing lackluster. He was plus 23 in the BPM. Next closest starter on either team was Keegan at 11.

Tough to play good and with confidence, which is a must, if you have the feeling of getting yanked with a mistake. Fran needs to have a bigger leash with the young players or player development will be tough.

CMAC going to get 30+ minutes a game. FRan can play 2-PGs together, but then that means less PT for Perkins.

I hope you are wrong. That would be epitome of ironic. We have tried and tried to get point guards to IC. I believe Ulis is the better but still like JT to play some combo and pg. If neither of them start next year, I might have to reevaluate Iowa as a program to follow.

Connor played when Luka was sitting. Many others played just as much as Connor when Garza was in too. Yet their numbers are nowhere close to +23. Explain that.

Neither Toussaint or Connor should be seeing prime minutes period, when 1 or the other or both of them are on the floor at the same time neither provide score ability and it allows the other team to double or triple team Garza without worrying about those 2 scoring enough to hurt their chances of beating Iowa.
