Oh my goodness. RIP to the young man. I hate to hear stories like this.

If true, that's horrible.
However, I feel like there should be some sort of "official" thing put out instead of from a blog covering hoops. I was looking on Twitter, it appears a couple of close friends found out from that report, that's no bueno. Wonder if any family found out that way.

When the Iowa players hear this, another reminder to keep their perspective. Just a game they lost, this young man and other families have lost much more this week....

He had a hell of a hustle block preventing a Connor breakaway layup Saturday. He was a senior that just ended his run at GCU. So tragic. RIP Oscar.
So if it's " just a game " why are they playing it at all.. playing sports is their choice on how to add structure to their life and I applaud them for that.
But personally to justify it as "just a game " is along the lines of coach K whining when they lost because they shouldn't be playing right now. We live in a capitalism society (cross your fingers it continues). To justify playing for fans entertainment is an insult to their own hard work and dedication. #notsorry

Wow, that was a seriously bad accident he was in. His girlfriend and sister died in the accident to and it was at 2:30am in the morning.

So very sorry to hear of this tragic news. May the Good Lord keep Oscar in the Palm of His Hand.
Just read where his older sister and a friend died in the accident too. Awful.
