This is what his 10th game he's played in now this year with Iowa and he can't figure it out.........................................................................
He’s got a lot of upside of course, but you can tell he’s the guy who on the defensive end is repeating to himself “I got number ___” over and over and after one pass and switch he’s completely confused about where he’s supposed to be.
For some coaches that’s a deal breaker and means he won’t play, but Fran DGAF.

Yeah that’s the thing. If he doesn’t get the basic idea of thinking one pass ahead on defense, I wonder if he ever will.
You see these super athletic guys playing at schools like Manhattan and wonder why they’re not playing at a higher level.

He should have played more minutes. Or do you think Payton deserved his 39 minutes as a defensive stopper? Iowa ran out of gas at the end due to playing too many minutes. Dembele & Traore 14 minutes each?
