Trevion Williams Accused of Battery

Williams claimed the manager used “racial slurs”.
Here we go…probably not true, but if so, he could burn the place to the ground and still suit up on Saturday.

That's a lie! Nothing beats McDonald's fries.
According to Michael Pollan, an author, journalist and professor at UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism, the potatoes used to make the McDonald's popular fries are sprayed down with a pesticide that is so toxic that it can't be eaten until six weeks after being sprayed.

Its interesting, too, that the manager (San Juan) suffered “pain in her back, lower leg and hip” and that the injuries put her on muscle relaxers for a week because of the pain.

And there appears to be hospital paperwork. San Juan said she wanted to make sure her injuries were documented. WLPD officers offered to call an ambulance, but she said she would go to the hospital on her own time and send the hospital paperwork to the prosecutor.

And is Williams using the race card? He told an officer that San Juan had used racial slurs toward him, an accusation she denied. The audio she recorded and sent to the Exponent didn’t include any racial slurs.

And it appears Williams caused the manager to fall a SECOND TIME. San Juan said she tried to take photos of Williams in the parking lot by the drive-through window to better describe him to the recently called police. Williams knocked the phone out of her hand and shoved her to the ground a second time when he saw the phone, she claimed.

The police report claims that security footage outside the building shows San Juan only lost her balance when the phone was “shoved” from her hand
.

Here is Williams finally leaving.

Why do assume it's probably not true?

1) The audio recording had nothing of the sort in it.
2) No witnesses have come forth saying they heard racial slurs
3) It's 2021 - not 1960.
4) Common sense says the Wendy's manager is not going to throw around the N word at a very agitated 6'9" 250# dude at 2 am.
5) The general trend of accusing someone of racism when you have no other defense for your actions.

If I'm wrong , I'll gladly by you a large fry and Frosty and allow you to remind me of how wrong I was while you eat it.

You guys need to eat sober, if you think fries are good at Wendys of McDonalds. Never tried the chili, and won't. 🤠

I ate Wendy's fries dead sober and they are hand-cut and tasty🙂

Back to the thread, Williams might have a tough time with this. Painter looks like a patsy if he does nothing because Williams was obviously out VERY late on a weekday night/morning and appeared to be inebriated.

Sorry, I was not aware of items 1 and 2 above.

Regarding 3), we are certainly a lot better than 1960, but we still have a long way to go, IMO
For 5), it's a general trend, but not a universal one.

Seeking compromise, a behavior for which I'm known, the problem lies when you eat the McDonald's fries. Get them fresh, and made with fresh grease, and McD's fries are the bomb. The problem is the timing. The fries are cold and inedible 5 minutes after they're served. Fortunately for late night runs, I only live 3 minutes from McDs and the fries usually don't make it from 22nd/86th to 92nd Street.

This is an interesting case. Obviously given the prosecutorial abuse and misconduct we're seeing in the Rittenhouse case, like so many other high-profile cases, the actual facts are frequently very different from what the press and prosecution and police say about the case.

This Purdue puke (they're all pukes, it's not an individual thing) has a version, assuming he has told anyone his version of the events. The Wendy's gal has her story, and it appears has some corroborating evidence. Her story isn't bulletproof. The Purdue puke will have badly damaged his credibility if he pulled a racism hoax. That's one of those lies (like "I was doing it for my children", as one woman in case I had, used to justify chasing my guy down I 80 and then running him over, when he ran out of gas and finally got out of the car) that jurors find very annoying.

I can see spend tax money on this if he pushed her to the ground but man it's hard to justify tax money going at someone who just knocked some fries on the ground.

Now the coach has a different responsibility. Those videos and this story, if provable, projects a high-profile Purdue athlete in a very poor light. Purdue can decide how important they think the conduct hurt the Purdue brand.

He played in their whipping of IN State yesterday. Apparently Painter feels that being denied french fries is reasonable grounds to assault someone.

i realize that. Do you realize who their first conference game is against?

Used drive from Ft Madison, Ia to Burlington, Ia (That's either 18 or 20 miles away from one another depending on which way you are going, but that's another story.) Those McDnoalds fries were worth the drive. The crap they serve now isn't worth waking up next to a $1,000.00 hooker force feeding them
to you from between................., (never mind). and it is all free.

Without having been there, it seems as though the McDonalds manager had a much more credible story, plus the video evidence. I think it's disappointing that Painter just let the entire matter slide and went right on as if nothing had occurred.

11 lawyers have turned down her case.

I can't. I didn't write the article talking about the case and the article has no names. It said 11 lawyers turned down her case after medical reports show she had zero bruising and there is zero proof trevion touched her.
San Juan would like to file charges, she said, but the more than 11 attorneys she called told her she couldn’t unless the injuries she sustained were related to a worker’s compensation injury. She is still looking for an attorney to take her case.

Based on the eye witnesses door dash driver that called 911 there is plenty to pursue legal remedies.

Lawyers don't turn down criminal assault cases - the State represents the plaintiff. The defendant seeks legal counsel, unless he/she wants a public defender. So, name the 11?
