Iowa recruited him out of high school - and, if memory serves, he was even an Iowa commit for a time. However, something happened and he never made it campus ... I cannot remember if it was grades or if some off-field things occurred. Anyhow, he ended up going to Iowa Western ... and then landed at Louisville.

My recollection is he was arrested for something. Hanging out with wrong people Think Iowa recruited him again out of IWCC but he went to Louisville

Yes, he did an incredibly stupid thing. Went to IWCC showed maturity, Iowa tried to get him back but picked Louisville.
