Very nice! Defensive backfield is going to be stacked for a few years!
Has a nice ring to it....Nice play by Trey!
Yep, and really love the excitement and enthusiasm from teammates when someone makes a nice play.I have high hopes for some of these young Dbs like Creamer, Turner, and Hankins.
Has a nice ring to it....And yes, hard to see but looks like Mansell on the pass.
Someone is going to step up and take a starting spot. Creamer works for me.
31 comes off the sideline for the key block after the pick!
Was a goal line route that was run horrible by 14. Should really press into defender and then on the break the ball should be there. High school level execution by him by rounding it off and giving the defender the clear eye view of what was coming. More on the receiver than the QB....QB stared at the receiver the whole way.
I like that Iowa recruits guys like Jackson and Creamer who could easily be playing receiver at another school (or maybe even Iowa haha) and converts them to CB. Having ball skills, once technique, tackling, etc. are down, imo, gives our CB’s an extra edge

Not a good route by the young man especially on the goal line. He is (I promise) coaches up to be physical and then crest space off the cut...didn’t do either14 is Groeneweg.
I was just indicating who the young man was. Hopefully he follows Easley's lead and works to be a technician ... because, as you rightly point out ... technique is critical if you want to get open (and not put your QB in a bad position). Not a good route by the young man especially on the goal line. The throw would not of been inside if the receiver ran the proper route. Soft and rounded....guarantee he heard about way more than the QBLooked like a combo of QB and WR.
WR ran a banana.
Throw late and inside.
