If true, I’ll be interested to hear what one of my employees thinks of this. He’s a vet and goes to the VA regularly. He supports Trump and every time I ask him about some dumbfvckery committed by the orange turd he somehow justifies it or immediately jumps to whataboutisms. I consider him a friend so I’m not wishing him ill will or anything, but this would be a major blow for him from a healthcare standpoint.

Well, the first go he actually did some good things with the VA MISSION Act (2018) Veterans Choice Program Extension and Improvement Act (2017). THose were very positive things. Why on earth would he undo the good?
Now, getting rid of low-hanging fruit federal employees? I'm all about that. I've already shared my personal experience with the old bag I worked with who slept on the job and we couldn't fire her. There’s a reason the old adage goes, 'Firing a Govie takes an act of Congress.'

This is very similar approach he took to the USPS. Failed in S1, perhaps S2 he fails again (fingers crossed).
I was at VA yesterday. In VA services so avoided the main building where his mug shot is now displayed. I took a moment in July and soaked up President Biden picture knowing we could be dumb enough to put a felon in office. Glad I did.
It amazes me how many people support Trump when he literally could not care less about them.

I'm sorry this is happening but people were warned this was going to happen. Since being told what was going to happen didn't work, it is time they face a consequence for their own stupidity. I tried, but lost. Maybe next time they will listen but I doubt it. Fox News will have them convinced that they deserve to be punished by not having health care.

This phenomenon is beyond a natural explanation. I don’t know how millions of people can be this far removed from reality regardless of how much exposure they’ve had to Trump media. These people are so enamored with Trump it’s like he is some type of modern-day messiah.
It’s crazy and it’s absurd. And it’s infected millions.
I work with these people...damn veterans and genius engineers. I just sat in my corner today shaking my head.

I agree he expanded on what Obama started with Veterans Choice. As for the reason he wants to undo the good, I think there’s two reasons.
1 his lie about him being the first president to get it done is in fact a lie, Veterans Choice was passed in 2014 (Obama)and expanded in 2017 (Trump). He can’t let Obama have any kind of win.
2 he wants to defund it so it can be privatized and our tax dollars can then go to one of his buddies to give us Vets substandard care at a higher price to the taxpayers. Then his buddies can give him kick backs in the form of a “political donation” to his pac.
