Part of me hopes he is confirmed. It is such a high profile position the rank incompetence of the pick will be quickly proven. The hypocrisy of Breadbags voting to confirm Hegseth will be delicious. Trump probably shouldn't have whacked that Iranian general. That's the only reason he's considering this, because they swore vengeance on him. Iran is becoming less powerful. Attacking them without specific and limited goals would be silly, which is probably why Trump is considering it.
Hopefully everyone is on the same page on this one. Iran shouldn't be allowed to have nukes. Coordinate and communicate as necessary.
